Open Treasure is an award-winning exhibition set within the incredible, 900-year-old Durham Cathedral. The exhibitions, presented within the historic Monks’ Dormitory and medieval stone vaulted Great Kitchen, explore the story of St Cuthbert and the spread of early Christianity, monastic life at the Priory and Cathedral life post-reformation across four unique architectural spaces in this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our designs capture the reverence and gravitas whilst remaining accessible. Visitors can feel the atmosphere of spirituality all around them as the stories unfold before them.
