“
Great project, great client team. Never have we been more pleased to be sent to Coventry.”
Coventry Transport Museum houses the largest collection of British made vehicles in the world. But this radically rearranged, reorganised and entirely reimagined museum does not present the car as design, or engineering, or even art.
It is instead an incredible 150-year social history journey through Coventry’s transport heritage, its central role in the rise and fall of the British car industry, its factories and workers and the vehicles they built in this City. Despite the boom and bust the people encountered, this is an emotive human story and a statement of pride.
What’s the story...
“
This is a story of pride. Despite the highs and lows, the visitor can take immense pride in the fact that each and every one of the 100+ amazing vehicles displayed are made in Coventry.”
What the client said...
“
It was clear that Studio MB had the experience and vision to truly bring this project to life. They understood the brief and offered design proposals that not only addressed our needs but exceeded our expectations. The development and delivery of the gallery designs across the board are innovative, creative and informative and have raised Coventry Transport Museum to a world-class standard visitor attraction.”
